Enerbi are Australian leaders in drying technology. Our systems currently dry one third of Australia’s macadamia nut production. We take the time to understand your process goals and deliver comprehensive solutions.

This holistic focus and approach has led us to develop and install innovative drying systems in the nut industry. These solutions are built around a hot water boiler (biomass or gas) as the heat source and multiple hot water coils and fans in drying silos, tunnels and rooms to achieve a specified outcome in moisture content. Each drying space is individually monitored through measurement of relative humidity and temperature. These measurements feed into an algorithm that then controls the fan speed and flow of water to that silo.

These systems have been proven to provide energy savings of between 30-40% relative to current industry practice. Additional savings are gained through reduced operating and maintenance requirements and product quality.
